Rainy day outside…
Rain, for me, evokes calm, thoughtfulness and, perhaps a slight sense of sentimental…
It put me in a domesticy mood to foof about…
As such, I deemed it an excellent day to “shop the house…” It’s a phrase I’ve come by for the occasions in which I compile the entirety of our coastal swag into one giant pile in the center of our living room and then make a go at “redecorating” using only what’s already on hand…
This simple spruce-up scheme, by which I am referring to giving old objects new life by locating them to a fresh place, is all too easy and (best part) totally free…
There was a bit of springtime tablescaping going on….
The doilies were handmade by my great grandma :) When I get a bit more time on my hands I think I’ll stitch the edges together and fixate this into a proper table-runner...

Coffee: check.
Music turned up loud baby loud: check.
Project: the organized housewife… an office closet de-clutter mission + the creation of Danielle’s new craft station + earning some extra fun-$ (by selling our unused, dust-gathering technology found in said closet)… oh yeah, check.
