And gaze out over the channel…
Staring at the blue of the ocean…
Snapping close-ups of pelicans and sea lions…
Perfect for a lazy day…
Till the crumpled sea was streaked with the pink light of the setting sun…

I have to say the weather was beautiful but it did not match the joy we feel being with our kiddos.
